Our Founder and Lead Advisor, Dr. Ian (@muhha08 ) is invited as a panel speaker at the @gipa_id 's Global Human Capital Summit 2024 held on Tuesday, 20th of August 2024. This is the side event titled “'75 Years Of Indonesia-UK Relationship, A Retrospective Alumni View”.
Attended by Indonesia's diasporas based in the UK, practitioners, and experts, this event sought to take stocktaking in facilitating Indonesia-UK relations collaborations. These included challenges, solutions, and real cases of UK alumni's experiences.
Dr. Ian, who was also an alumnus of @unibirmingham and @londonschoolofeconomics, emphasized the potential within the Indonesia-UK relationship especially in the sector of defense and intelligence. He mentioned the MoU between these countries in the defense industry that has the potential to scaled up. Dr. Ian also highlighted the cooperation between @babcockinternationalgroup and @ptpal_indonesia in developing Frigate Merah Putih where this was not only limited to mere business but also covered the transfer of technology that contributed to the increase of Indonesia's capability in building defense weaponry by itself.
